Autologic have developed performance tunes for all of the BMW control units listed below. There are however hundreds of variations for each control unit and vehicle. It is necessary therefore for the garage to diagnose the vehicle with Autologic to determine
1. If a performance tune exists for the current level of ECU software
2. If Autologic are required to develop a Performance Tune for this variation
If a tune does not exist, specific data is required to be sent about the control unit to Autologic. New BMW Performance Tunes can be written and uploaded to the Autologic website, usually within 24 hours.
There is also a 'Performance Tunes Figures' button on the main page for BMW on the Autologic tool. This will display a list of all the current vehicles for which BMW Performance Tunes are available.
